Sweet potato and ginger dessert

Ingredients

1 sweet potato
10g ginger
60g brown sugar
600 cc water

           

Peel sweet potato and cut into 3 cm pieces, then soak in water. Peel and slice ginger, and mash them by using the end of the knife handle. Boil potato and ginger in water on high heat. When they are well cooked, add brown sugar and simmer on low heat for about 30 minutes. Remove ginger before serving.
